An Enterprise Geographic Information System Implementation, Phase 1 & 2
The purpose of this project was to prepare the provincial government for the implementation of a Geographic Information System across 20 different agencies in as many different geographic locations, all with different levels of IT infrastructure capability. The final deliverable for this phased project was a geospatial infrastructure design that allowed for technology and human capital growth as part of the capacity planning exercise. As part of this project we also provided enterprise-wide and departmental conceptual system designs for a spatial data warehouse model, data dissemination model, application/service delivery model, and an imagery services model. Policy and governance issues were also identified and recommendations put in place.
An Enterprise Web-Based GIS Implementation For a Private Sector Client
The primary purpose of this project was to analyze, design and build a web-based Enterprise Geographic Information System for client access. Our current team members developed the necessary business process workflows and user requirements through structured facilitated workshops. The information gathered from these workshops was used to develop data and functional specifications that could be handed off to GIS programmers for immediate code production. The information gathered was also used to support the spatial architecture design and ESRI geodatabase schema.
