Chris is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with a combined 19 years of national and international experience in managing and facilitating large complex GIS, IT, and Business Change Management projects. He is a people-oriented degreed professional with expertise in formal project management methodologies. He also has extensive experience with software engineering processes for data collection, data integration, application development, and "policy and governance" as they apply to enterprise-wide GIS/IT initiatives.

He is an expert communicator who understands how to communicate at both the staff, team and board level. His ability to bring technology, people and process together to achieve a winning solution has always been his strong point. He is a member of the International Association of Facilitators, and has often been invited to lead and facilitate corporate strategies for other organizations.

Beyond these skills, Chris is a visionary and has the innate ability to take strategy and transform it into tactical executable plans. As the founder and owner of the company, Chris understands the importance of building and maintaining successful client relationships.

Chad Amirault (GISP), VP Business Development

Chad is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) and has been providing professional services to government and private industries for 10 years. His enthusiasm and work ethic are exceptional and as an owner, he plays a strategic business development role in our organization. Chad's professional career has encompassed a range of geomatic experiences in cartography, information management, decision support systems, system design, spatial modelling and application development. He has developed applications to streamline data workflow and maximize efficiency and quality. Chad specializes in using modern technologies to provide innovative custom solutions for our clients.

Prior to joining Spatial Energistics Group, Chad was the Regional Practice Director for Information Management at an environmental consulting firm and was responsible for service line strategy, development and quality. As a result, he has extensive knowledge and experience in providing superior environmental sector solutions.

Ryan Goodale (MScF), GIS Business Analyst

Ryan is a technical GIS Business Analyst specializing in Enterprise GIS solutions for his clients. He understands and appreciates the need for minimizing risks by following project management procedures. His technical expertise includes documenting and analyzing user requirements in collaborative workshop settings. He has extensive knowledge of business analysis tools and utilizes techniques such as workflow analysis, activity diagramming, and root cause analysis to provide solutions for his clients.

As a member of Spatial Energistics Group, Ryan leads business analysis solutions and follows the best practice BABOK® (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) as sanctioned by the IIBA® (International Institute of Business Analysis). His requirements engineering experience ensures deliverables such as data gap analysis, data acquisition planning, test plan development, and functional specifications exceed the needs of his clients. His combination of GIS and business analysis expertise makes him an invaluable member of any team.

Ryan has built spatial and non-spatial database schemas and helped design GIS architectures. He also has an excellent appreciation for what makes an organization's GIS sustainable over time through the development of production and maintenance policies and guidelines.
